This guy is around the corner from me and I've seen this thing a bunch. Primarily on the lift at the local shop where he works. At first it was like "cool!" but now it's like IDK why you'd do that, but whatever floats yer boat.

that place puts cash prices on the board, then whacks you with the $0.30 / gallon upcharge for using your credit card or debit, at least, and it's not consistent between grades, iirc. it's usually more like $0.20 at least elsewhere. i don't bother with them unless i need a car wash.

Yeah that's more like what we see here. It's usually $0.90 between 87 and 93 at the Shell 1 mile from my house. At the Shell in the middle of town 3 miles away it's $0.60, and $0.30/gal cheaper for the 93.
