Smoked on both my babies. Not homemade either. I think they look the best, and the early stle better still. I dont think they look that bad (the ones shown) but I just dont like the "crystal" look to them. I dont like that new trend. There was no need to do that. I agree, why dont people come out with the most OBVIOUS combo, STOCK configuration with clear instead of amber, and not this crystal garbage.

Think of how wierd that would look though. It would be all red with white stuck on the side. I think that only works with vertically oriented tails, like E36's.

Going against everyone else here but i reckon they look quite cool on that red M3. It is something different and far better than those other shitty crystal lights you see on egay.

I do agree with whoever said they are too modern for our cars and that most cars on hear wont be able to pull them off.

I dont disagree. Its at least nice people still want to spend money on developing SOME E30 specific mods. Gets tiring to see the same shit over and over.

I saw a post where someone photoshopped these lights onto the back of an E30 and while the lights themselves looked OK...they looked like shit on the car. They remind me of Japanese style lights that belong on some 80's Honda. I don't see how people (Rob) can hate on smoked MHW taillights...they're stock lights with a clear/smoked lense and bulb caps made in Germany. The only color car they would probably look "bad" on are red cars that match the stock red in the taillights. Stock tails stand out too much on silver/black cars and the smoked blends in a lot better. To each his own... :roll:
