I guess it was a friend, Zack Hartwell. Not confirmed by authorities as of yet though.

I can agree with the lack of sentiment for drunk drivers, but at this point no one knows if he was drunk or had just been drinking. Regardless my thoughts go out to his family and friends. He was one of the celebrities I wish I had the chance to meet in person. Sounds like he was a well-grounded, stand up guy according to everyone who knew him. I just wish people's potential mistakes wouldn't permanently alter so many lives.

Bummer. He was a hardcore BMW guy. :(

Drinking or not, anything can happen at 100+mph.

Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

This is true. Anyone that has never made a questionable decision in their lives can disagree if they want.

Well lets see if a mechanical issue plays, blown tire, brakes, deer in the road, pothole, another driver, road grease, ETC could have caused the wreck, Mask of Tapout was definatly racing. I've seen wrecks caused by insect migration on a road, wet leaves, trash truck leakage, all kinds of BS. Loved the Jackass Chalenge Authority Forever!!

                your missing the point,
249 out of 250 people wont end up dead if there going the speed limit and come across a dear or blow a tire or smash into a pothole or many other road hazards,
but if your going 110, and you run into a snail, your life could be done.
idk if you saw the photos but he plowed through a guard rail and banked off of a couple trees and the car ended up probably 75-125 feet off the road and in flames...
im sure non of the above would end this way if they were traveling at a safer speed than 110...like the speed limit or maybe +10
                just my

So basically, they confirmed that the dude from the originally posted TMZ photo was one of the stuntmen on a previous film or something.

SOOO BASICALLY, these 2 dudes both know howt o drive high powered european sports cars. If you notice in the videos from TMZ, the skid marks, it almost looks like someone tried to pull out in the intersection and they went down into the enbankment and hit a tree.

In any case, doing triple digit speeds on ANY public road is stupid. I used to commute on that road when I lived there, so I know the area. It's just not smart and there is no justifying it, but it happened, and it's sad for all parties involved that there was a loss life, not just Ryan, but the other individual. It sends ripples into a whole community, families, and across the nation. I just hope this can be a "don't do stupid shit" lesson and possibly turn a bad thing into a lesson for his fans/entourage.

stupid shit is what that whole crew is founded on. I hate to say it but I'm surprised this has been the only death in that group so far.

Don't get me wrong, Ryan Dunn was hilarious and it sucks to hear he's dead.

thanks for reitterating what everyone else has said in this thread.

anywho, you the skid marks paint a weird picture. drunk or not, right or wrong, must have been some sort of catalyst to the situation for this to happen.
