"Jackass" star Ryan Dunn was extremely intoxicated at the time of his fatal crash Monday morning ... with a blood alcohol level of more than TWICE the legal limit ... this according to cops.
Even if he was drunk, still is a horrid loss. Thankful when I got my DUI no one was injured except a telephone pole. I can't even imagine what Bam and his close friends and family are going through.
Dude, come on. Really? It's not like the guy was hit by friendly fire or something.
Have you lost your best friend? Or someone equally as close to unexpectedly. and that is the key word - unexpected.

I'd think it's even worse to know it was his own bad decision's vs outside circumstances.
Regardless of why a loved one is lost, it doesn't diminish the loss.
The circumstances of their death do not matter, but the fact that it was so preventable does make it worse in my opinion.
I lost an aunt in a car accident, she was hit by a drunk driver. And that was really hard for me, I couldn't even go into the funeral home and just sat outside crying. So I know of a similar situation, but I can't even imagine loosing someone I am really close to and having to be so far away (Bam was in Arizona) from those that can comfort you.

when there is a choice between an e36 and another car, you choose the other car.
I keep visualizing Random Hero in the GT3, lining up next to James Dean in "The Little Bastard" on the Nordschleife, burning the tread off at 10/10th's for eternity.
I guess that's not a bad way to be remembered. Better than thinking about his pinnacle being that Hot Wheels.
