i think i dropped $2k for 20whp in my rx8. so.. good luck. even with a piston engine, $2k will only take you so far with a sohc straight 6. haha... -_- need an ls1 swap for that car.....

shit, if i knew $2k would take me to a reliable 300whp in my e30 i'd spend the money tomorrow.AWD > RWDComment

Come to Ky- everything here is a chevy- EVERYTHING!! Ls's everywhere in junkyards, no e30's- Anyone wanna trade homes/location? Lol

Josh... No way is 2k going to get u 500, and not safely- I sold my ms1e for 150$, I'd be sooooooo nervous having 500hp thro a lil 12x12 map unless, you are just gonna run it wot down a strip and not drive it- 12x12 bloaaawsssss when it comes to "smoothness" in drivability- But... Like everyone said, v8's make power cheaper- it's called naawwwss!! Lmao!!!

But seriously, I'll sell ya a haltech, twinscroll mani, and oh wait- that's already over 2k (retail) actually closer to 3k lol :P Take ur time searching for deals.... I got my haltech, two tials, a gt35, and a twinscroll Mani for under 1800$ :D yanked a trans and reinstalled it for the GT35, sometimes you can get nice things for a lil bit of labor and freeee dollas homie!!

Come out here, I'll hook ya up whatever sbc you want- As long as it's a sbc :hitler: :hitler:Comment

We talking full motors or just blocks and heads??? Why buy a motor together??? If u want hp, you want to go thro the engine... You can get a aluminum block for under 1k, go to a junk yard, yank some heads- I mean.... Lol no one here has much money, junk yards will let ya run out with whatever prett much. There's just no fucking bimmers >_< :hitler: :hitler:Comment

honestly, if I was going that route, I would just hit up Summit for a 305 crate motor.

Edit: and if I was going that route, I'd be spending a little more than 2k, lol.

He's not lying Chevy V8 are littering many junkyards in areas across the southeast. A few weeks I saw 2 Hispanic gentlemen wheeling an what I thought was LS1 motor out of the local pick and pull, cost them a little over $300 with accessories. My buddy who's a chevy nut corrected me though, it was an LM7 the 5.3L from a 2004 Silverado so it was ONLY 300ish HP in stock form. But LSs from later f-bodies cost the exact same at that yard, they just sell faster.Comment
