It was mentioned before:

You should be able to get a fuel injection clamp that size that would work nicely. Or better yet an Oetiker clamp. Also. rotate your main hose clamp so that the thin smooth section is next to the small hose for more clearance.

The $20 was for Danny, not you, and it was for fitting a worm clamp. Chode. ;)

I'm surprised nobodies recommended a large fuel injection line clamp. It will easily fit there.

just to add this in, I bent mine up a little to use stock hoses and clamps. I used a deepwall socket and fat phillips screwdriver to bend it up.

Some times these ones will fit into tighter spots.

You can totally get a clamp on there, you're just being a weenie.

I'll give you $20 if you can fit a worm clamp on there. It's not like I went straight to the pinch-type piece of shit, I had a hammer and a flathead out. That didn't work, so I went to a specialty shop and looked for smaller (narrower) clamps that might fit. Nothing smaller than what I already had.

Yeah that part SUCKS! we bent my nipple up a bit to get it out of the way.

I think your corrosion problem may be from not running coolant in the rad. Running straight water is not advisable.

If I could get a proper hose clamp on the overflow hose, I could justify running antifreeze. But I can't, because of this.
