strange. call warrenty-
I ran a mishimoto for 2 years on my e36m with s52 and s54. no problems.
fit does not compare to OEM BEHR or PWR though- PWR and other higher end stuff is better fit on some things, but worse on other issues because they are too thick.Leave a comment:

Exactly. Have 4 of them and all have been great. Just recently got one in an E36 that I bought and it's smaller than the current generation is holding up fine.Leave a comment:

I've yet to see Mishimoto deny ANY warranty claim. They replaced a customers from an e36 that had an interaction with a tree for free after he faxed in a police report for the wreck. Looks like you may have gotten one that slipped by quality control at time of production, but I'm sure they will make it right.Leave a comment:

I've only filled with water (no antifreeze as it leaks out of the other side of the rad due to poor nipple placement), but it's been 100% distilled stuff. A hose has never been near this rad.Leave a comment:

hard to tell exactly what i'm looking at there. but electrolysis would be synonymous with dissimilar metal corrosion. there are only two things that would cause this to a radiator that i can think of: 1) the radiator was filled with water other than distilled. ie, tap water with a high iron content or perhaps lime. or less likely, 2) it is touching another metal that is higher up the galvanic chain such as mild steel. not to burst your bubble, but that probably isn't a manufacturer's defect.Leave a comment:
