Man, I think it's funny as fuck the hate that Tico Frank gets for this mod. The Suzuki pipes are incredibly efficient, and I admire the enginuity. Not saying that I'm rushing out to do this myself, but this isn't some bullshit aftermarket company, it's one of the biggest motorcycle companies in the world. To each his own, and gee it's just too damn bad that it doesn't fit in with the accepted MTech/Plastics/Smilies formula that so many people here revere. Tico's digging rolling in his vert with his family, rather than trying to build a garage queen.Originally posted by LJ851kingston is the play by play announcer for this thread.

I appreciate the kind words Kingston. I like my car the way it is and thats about it. I can certainly afford the standard run of the mill exhaust but I enjoy being creative and if I thought the car sounded like crap I wouldn't have posted it or kept the exhaust to begin with. I like it.sigpic

Lol....did you calculate the way this would effect backpressure? Coupled with the fact that you are running two of them, you'd probably have to run the #'s and make sure each "bank" of 3 are running exactly the same so as to even the pressure coming from each muffler. You will probably find that operating this setup at certain barometric pressures and temperatures, you will see a loss in power/torque. Taking into effect the Coriolis effect should help you to overcome this, but doesn't mean that putting mufflers meant for a 1200cc engine on a 2500cc engine is a good idea.
Anywho, if you're happy, I guess I can be happy, and Jesus loves you and all that shit, no matter what you do to his dad's chariot.
Also.....I want drive by vids. Revving in a parking lot and driving by are two different things.1974.5 Jensen Healey : 2003 330i/5

I would love to see how the Coriolis effect has anything to do with this lolol
Anyways i think it sounds kinda dope, but still sounds like a bike. Its kinda like sticking a 350z muffler on our car to sound like a 350z. Its pointless.
Anyways just make a make to metal boxish like contraption thatll give it the appearance of being a single muffler and tthrow some nice tips on there

I've heard e30's that sound much worse and exhaust set ups that look much worse. It's not my cup of tea, but props for the ingenuity.http://l0st0n3.mybrute.com
