Definately purpose built. What it needs is one of those high-strung S14 race engines.....around 2.6L or 2.7L that can rev to 10K and needs to be rebuilt after 1,000 miles or so.

Or perhaps a hi-boost turbo S50 from AA :twisted:

yeah, the spin lock wheels and the fact that the removed all the trim and smoothed out the edges makes me think it is purpose built.

But yes, purpose built I think as well, with the lexan all around and the smoothed edges, and the fact that he took the trouble to mount that spoiler NOT on the trunk lid - gotta be a reason. It's still fairly ugly to me, I think he could have done a better job making it all flow. And don't give me the "it's a track rat blah blah who cares what it looks like" crap - this guy clearly cares, with the fresh paint, tasteful wheels, and attempt to make it look ok.

actually i might not even be getting an evo but i still think the evo is a very sick car. we all have our opinions. unfortunately the insurance company is very gay and is charging as much as my car payments for insurance so that goes out the door. I'm looking for either an e30 m3, an srt4, or a 3000gt vr4. so if you see one layin round let me know ;)
