    Excellent figures TED,

the curves look like my S50B30 when it wasn´t turning on it´s VANOS and the timing was in limp mode,
    225hp@6900 and 227lbs@4000
Multi Throttles and you will be in the 270hp zone :)
although that will move the powerband up high to much,

hey, im just wondering... what is the stock compression for m20b25's. if your going all motor doesnt 9.8 seem low? im not a compression expert but my understanding is turbo = low compression and all motor = high compression.
im not trying to start an im right, your wrong kinda thing, im just wondering. im sure you know more than me so, could u fill me in?

8.8 is the stock compression on CAT cars,
non euro cat cars was 9.4 and 9.7,

wow, I guess I'm lucky to get US bimmer and not the euro, for my turbo setup of corse...that explain me why the euro is a little faster and nervous than the US spec....more compression with out cat= more power!!

so, those pistons has more or les dish?the euro of corse...

WOW! That is just great, probably the 3.0 ive seen yet. Get the piggyback and map or maf on there and youll be much better. Ive got some questions for you though. How is the idle with the dual pattern cam, I was thinking about getting this cam for my 2.8, also what octane gas do you get there. 91? I was thinking about 10:1 for my 2.8 build. Is that TOO high or will it be runnable with piggyback tunable type system? What kind of milage do you get? and how much do you have into your engine so far?

may I ask a question without sounding like a complete asshole?
              how much did it cost?
and would you say it was worth it or would you go with a modified M50 swap if you had to do it again?

How about SMT-6 where you can run a MAF with that, for much cheaper... and have a lot more adjustability?

Excellent numbers Ted! Your powerband looks exactly like mine, only shifted higher :D.

I'm going to redyno mine as well with the new chip, muffler, cat, headers, and injectors in about 2 weeks. Hopefully there will be some improvement.

Holy Crap that's a lotta questions! Lemme see if I can get 'em all.

Brian- The idle with the cam isn't bad, it's a little lumpy and it rattles the tranny a bit, but nothing not worth the performance gain that it brings. I have 92 octane and it pings with the JimC chip, but I haven't run the stock chip yet, so I don't know if that would help. 10:1 sounds a bit high to me without a custom chip, but you can ask Fred, he has a 10:1, 2.8L.

TJ- I haven't heard a lot about the SMT-6, so I'm a little wary to be quite honest. I'll see what my guys know about it and it's a little ways off so I have a while to make up my mind.

Jared- You don't sound like an asshole, it was not cheap. I am very happy with the motor, and if I had gone with a modified M50, the car wouldn't retian some of it's sleeper qualities, also I wouldn't have the endless torque that the motor has right now, unless I did an S50/S52. I'm not sure what I would doif I could go back, because the motor isn't finished, but it runs great, makes great power/torque, and looks fairly stock.

                    Again thanks all! :D
