Ya man Get him your account number and routing number and just get him to deposit the cash in your chase, wachovia, wellsfargo. Then you can ship it to him as soon as the money is deposited. No bullcrap if hes like no dont do it dudes a scammer there's no reason he wouldn't do it its more secure the bank way for both of you. The bank gives him a receipt afterwards.

Let us know how it turns out.
I surely hope you did not send him a signed title unless you had verified money in your account.
If you send him a title signed he really doesn't have to pay you. That paper says it is now his. All he would have to do is dispute it by saying he sent you cash, had a third party pay in in CA, etc.
Good luck!

do you have verified funds, IN YOUR BANK, that you can pull out that cannot be refunded back as well as spoke with your bank and asked a fraud specialist what he thinks.
if he did a wire transfer, across state lines, and tries to scam you thats a federal matter (iirc) and your bank will protect you, however, id pull that money out, in cash, and all of your other money, and put it into a different account for a while until it is all clear and free that he has the car and has re registered it to himself where ever.I can run Auto Checks on VINs for tips/donations:
PM me VIN(s) and I'll get you ALL the public recorded info that I have available.

I would take a direct BANK WIRE ONLY. and to an account that you dont use that much. Or make sure with your bank that they have a special routing number and might be able to assign a temp account number to you for the transfer, so you dont have to give out all that info. Its the same info as writing a check to someone but still, my bank will issue a temp transfer account number for a small fee.
with pay pal a week latter he reports to them that you didnt send the car or its not the same car...... ect. and paypal gives him all his money back and your car is on its way to him.
Also it seems I am a little late to this party.
OP yeah I would hit the bank and pull the majority (leave like a grand in there to cover auto debit bills checks that have not cleared and keep it open or at least the minimum amount to keep it open) of my money out of that account and place it in a differant one or in the safe at home for a while.
Also like mentioned above talk with a manager or fraud guy at the bank as well and let them know that you think something a little odd is going on with this transaction now that you are this deep into it and want to protect your self.Last edited by mrsleeve; 07-30-2011, 02:14 PM.Originally posted by FusionIf a car is the epitome of freedom, than an electric car is house arrest with your wife titty fucking your next door neighbor.

might be too late to help
Just came across this. I have bought and sold a few cars on line. Do not send the title until you have the money cleared and your band says it is cleared. And do not give him your banking info. Have it go into a savings account that you can close. Do not give anyone info. about your bank numbers.
Not trying to scare you, just be safe with your money. Guy is probably a nice guy...btw your car was worth shipping.

the money is already clear. i withdraw all of it out already. today i went out and bought this from a retired guy who had a sick 3.0 csi alpina and some other classic toys. too bad i didn't have a camera with me at the time. he sale cars as a side job in his rental garage. it cost me $2321 which is not too bad. the only down side is the auto tranny.. the slowest car i have ever driven.. :)
