Removing the passenger side axle from the rear hub took me forever when I did my wheel bearings a few months ago. Couldn't get it to move, broke my damn puller and smashed my thumb with a hammer in the process. Ended up setting up what was left of the puller as tight as I could get it, heating the hub with a torch for ten minutes, and pounding the forcing screw with a three pound mini sledge.
I miss the old BMW

Havent had my car long or really worked on it but wheel lug installation a 10 min install took me two hours retapping the threads and trying to figure out how to get a wheel off that was corroded or rusted to the hub damn POOriginally posted by Ryan...Please do not ban me.Originally posted by JeSTI get the feeling this thread is more "which r3v member would you jerk off?"

Control arm, the stud for the inner ball joiint snapped in the subframe.
Four hours of hammering from the top did nothing. Dropped the subframe in 30 minutes and took me three swings (and some torch action) with the hammer and it was out .
