If you have a Ducati 848 there's no reason to have the 1000rr, unless you wanna make it a track bike.

The one time I rode an 06 1000rr, I hit 150mph in the time I could hit 90 on my 600rr, they're stupid quick bikes with minor mods..

Thats because they're probably the most well rounded bikes on the market year in and year out :)
Super reliable, fast as hell, very nimble feeling (almost 600 like), and mods are plentiful and cheap.

Keep the E30 and sell 848 and pick up cbr1000 if you want it that bad. I like Ducatti's better. I say don't change a thing.

i just rode that honda 1000 and it makes the ducati feel like a huffy 10 speed, jeeezz ! ..and yeah the duc had full termignoni exaust, re-mapped,
