          I think it dpends on whether or not you really want a bike. I think the e30 is more practical for daily driving, but, if you really really want the bike and will be fine riding it every day or a lot of the time then do it. IMHO id stay with the E30/

            How much motorcycle experience do you have? Keep the e30.

                It would be a depends kind of situation. IE... do you know the guy? has he ever laid the bike down? mileage? maintenance up to date?

                Also, figure out what your car is worth and what the bike would be worth if sold outright. If the bike is worth more, sell it and make a profit(if you don't like it). Take abate before you decide if a bike is right for you. Also, put yourself in shoes... If you had the CBR, would you trade it for your e30? Obviously your e30 doesn't have THAT much sentimental value, or this thread wouldn't be here. There are plenty more e30's in the world... and CBR's. Pick your addiction.

                      some more info, the E30 mostly sits in the garage, i still love it but its not my daily driver. my E36 is. i also already have a bike ( ducati 848 ) i have been riding since 04 and this is my 3rd bike.

                              the bike does have some damage, he said it feel in th back of his truck....the front fering and tail section have damage and will need replacement...my E30 isnt perfect but its in good condition.. i think its a fair trade, but i still have to think about it
