    In Vancouver BC Canada
1.10 cdn per litre for regular
1.20 cdn per litre for 92

    1.20 cdn per litre equals 4.80 per gallon @ .8210 exchange rate = 3.94 U$
Americans are lucky to have cheap gas prices. In Canada we pay 15.00 cdn more per tank

I just paid 3.09 per gallon in Washington for 92 which is .94 cdn per litre

it's already $3.19 at some places here for premium. get used to it or stop driving.. and gas is still relatively cheap in the states so enjoy it while it lasts.

            Same in Atlanta area.

I think this is something we are going to have to get used to. I just hope all teh DAs in Excursions have to file for bankruptcy.

I fill up once a week. Yesterday I shelled out $51.xx.

Europeans pay alot because of all the taxes, but I understand that postsecondary education is funded by those taxes.

I am getting an apartment five minutes from both my places of employment. I will ride a bicycle more often. And I can finally justify a motorcycle.

Gas is about $2.85-2.90 for 93 octane in Sarasota now. I can't wait to see how expensive it is in West Palm Beach

If ya don't like it, buy a Corolla. You'd save a bunch on insurance too.

Or, you could switch to GEICO.

I think its about $2.50 for 93 octane at the sunoco, which isn't the cheapest place to get gas but I prefer their product to places like Sheetz. I spend about $36 every tuesday to fill up my 2004 325xi.

After watching my uncle frank in England pay almost $100 to fill his mercedes up with diesel I'll never complain about gas prices in the US. They are still a long way off from the early 1980's prices when you take into account inflation (prices would have to exceed $90 a barrel... and I think its just under $70 a barrel now).

Note that (for PA) that I'm paying about $0.20 in federal excise tax, $0.30 in Pennsylvania excise tax (up from 26.2 cents last year... thanks assholes!), $0.07 in state tax, and $0.06 local tax per gallon. Reduce or eliminate a lot of that shit and gas would be easily be back down under $2.00/gallon. The gas stations (i.e. the Sunoco and BP headquarters, not the actual station) maybe make $0.09-0.10 per gallon. The rest is marketing costs, crude oil price, and other expenses.

                      Gotta love them tax-first-ask-questions-later liberals.

If the EPA would not be so damn stupid and let companies build new refineries we could buy heavy crude which is $14/barrel cheaper than light crude. Plus we could make some more efficient refineries and cut down on the $0.50-0.60 or so that they add to the cost at the pump.

Another smart thing to do in the mean time would be to reduce the number of grades of gas to just 87 and 93 or 94 octane. That would increase supplies of gas and reduce the cost of gas by several cents a gallon at least.

Phew, good thing the only thing i spend money on is gas, food, and repairs, otherwise i'd be pissed at gas prices. Not like you can "protest" and just not buy gas..

Didn't I see on the news the other night something about the top three oil companies posting record profits??? :x

I live .6 miles from my business. I walk or pedal. I do all my grocery shopping on a bike with a trailer. I guess I'm fairly immune to the sting of high gas prices. I feel pity for those with lengthy commutes. Oh well, at least SUV owners who only use them as commuter pods are finally paying the "Stupid Tax" for their vehicle choice. Who knows, maybe we'll have small cars ruling the road again!

they charge gas at the price that it costs to replace it actually, not at the price that the buy it at...must be nice to be in the bussiness, huh!

in the tampa bay area 93's @ 2.69 which is OUTRAGEOUS!!
so why does the price change so often...like i've seen the sunoco gas station near my house change 4 times in 20mins...wtf is that :?:
i swear that it's getting rediculous...gas companies say its taxes, government says its gas companies that raise the prices...bah...it pisses me off.

Record profit because demand has sky rocketed faster than refineries can keep up. Most companies markup their product 100% if not more... 10 cents a gallon profit when crude costs about $1.40 or more per gallon is hardly unethical.
