Ok so I've seen several pictures online of e30's with the high beam lights deleted and nobody knew how to do it so I decided to make my own, it's a rough mock up for now but it should be nice when it's all done



It's a start I'll keep posting for anyone interested.

Interesting but that looks like total dog shit to me. Now a normal grill with just singles may look cool, was actually thinking about that after hanging with a friend who has a MkI GTI with single rounds.

I think it would have looked like dog shit had they not fixed the body lines where the kidneys would be.

I don't mind that front end at all, but you need to think about it as a custom, and not in a puritanical kind of mind set.

then again, I used to think Mini-Trucks were the bomb shit back about 1990' so I am not opposed to altered bodylines and such.

also fwiw I wouldn't do it to my own ride.
