    Pricey '87 325is

    Hey there,

I found a 1987 325is black/black 5spd with 39,000 miles, they are asking $15,900 USD! What do you all think? Is that a fair price? Seems high, but it most likely in very good condition, the dealer says it was owned by two BMW fanatics and it was kept in a climate controlled garage. Any input would be greatly appreciated

the big question is, what are you going to do with it??? Daily driver??? that price is high for that... Collector car??? seems like you could spend that on a decent m3 and it would be worth more in the long run.... And even in a climate controlled garage, your still going to have to replace the rubber parts because of age. But hey, it's your money and this is America, you do whatever makes you feel good...
        Good luck

walk away. get a beater e30 for 1000, and spend 10,000 to make it yours. 11,000 for YOUR E30!!

that car is only good as a museum piece. and if you were an actual collector, you wouldnt ask us, you would already know.

            so no.

if you have 16000 to spend, buy an e36 m3 and supercharge it.

What a waste. Doesn't really have any significance to the E30 line other than being the first 325iS. I could see it getting a little over 1/2 that price from the right buyer. Clean / low miles E30's are harder and harder to find. 14K these days gets you a really nice E36 M3 or an E46 M3.
