I was going to say, kind of like on the S14 and S38, although those are plastic.

Yep, you can't powdercoat plastic, or I would do that. And, I want the lettering machined into it with the exposed metal.

That's going to look awesome, that's all the engine bay really needs.

Back on topic Raxe. PM me, I can make you an aluminum one any size you want. Then you can polish it, anodize it, powdercoat it, whatever. I can make it work with the stock e30 pump too if you like. Here is one I did for another local guy's e36.

Oh right, I forgot you made those! They looked fantastic in your car with the M20, I'll definitely give you a shout if I go that way.

Love your engine bay Josh. I'm not repainting mine (at least not planning on it) but the shaved look is always hot.

Been kicking ideas around about this myself; there will eventually be an airbox where my tank is for make toorbo chargid. Considering the iX tank, but to keep it light I might go with an e23/24 intensive fluid tank:

I like that it's a BMW part. I can take another pic if you want a better view of it.

Is that intensive fluid tank flat on the bottom so it would be stable in the battery tray and does it use a standard washer fluid pump? Would like to see some other pics of it as well.

I bought a new ix reservoir and I think it solves the problem well. I haven't permanently installed it yet but I could put it in the battery tray and take a picture if it will help you visualize.
