There is a new kid in town. So the Sterling Silver M tech II car is purchased after days of back and forth and soon will be on the rig on its way back to California. I have some super crappy pics I got from the seller so I'm going to hold off until I receive the car and then update folks with photos. First up the autotrajic is coming out at the expense of a manual conversion. Anyone selling a conversion kit hit me up. The leather interior is different than what Robrez has. Here is a couple of shots:

You bought it sight unseen huh? Where's it coming from? Bet you can't wait to get it.

Yes car was bought unseen. I asked for a billion photos, all matching VINs are there and no sign of rust under the car or in the cabin. The car is a native California car but has spent the last 4 years in Michigan. Waiting super anxiously to receive the car. It is an absolute gem for the price he sold it for. I contemplated paying 800 bucks extra to expedite the shipment then called myself an idiot and just went with regular transport. Should be here in a week.

I have an M tech II rear spoiler. Should I throw that on the cabrio or is it going to look funky?

That's pretty brave of you but it sounds like the real deal. That interior isn't what I expected though. It's not like Robrez' either. His has leather center inserts on the panels. This car appears to have custom centers and the rear seat has partially been reupholstered. Let's see the entire car.

The remaining photos are all on my mobile. Will try to upload them later tonight or we can all just wait until the bad boy gets here.

either way, its should be a good find even if it needs some work done
I can run Auto Checks on VINs for tips/donations:
PM me VIN(s) and I'll get you ALL the public recorded info that I have available.

My thoughts exactly... It's hard to find a 20 year old car that doesn't need a little TLC, and when you do the price tag reflects that.

Some folks like the Mtech II spoiler some like the Mtech I spoiler. I went with the Mtech I because I liked the look a little better. Mtech's came with a couple of different interiors. The good news is that you can get the cloth material if you prefer the Mtech cloth. I have not seen those inserts either so it may have had some reupolstering done. Welcome to the Mtech club! Can't wait to see some better pictures.

                          Cheers,

                          Jim
