Joe G's Cross Country Adventure. JOURNEY COMPLETE! Pic heavy

In roughly 5 hours I will be embarking on approximately a week long journey from Long Island, New York to Spokane, Washington in my S50'd E30.

The schedule is:
Day 1: Long Island to Granville, Ohio
Day 2: Granville to Chicago, Illinois
Day 3: Chicago to Pine River, MN
Day 4: Pine River to Wherever I get tired, MT
Day 5: Wherever I got tired to Spokane, Washington

The plan is to stay 2 days in Granville and 2 days in Pine River but other than that each stop will just be to eat, drink beer, and sleep.

I have my DSLR with me and plan on taking plenty of E30 and non-E30 related pictures. I will do my best to post here every night with photos and any odd/cool stories and encounters i may have along the way.

Coming soon to a highway near you:
-White E30 will all sorts of painters tape
-Guy wearing straw hats, bandannas, and halloween masks
-Me rocking out to absurd music out of boredom
-White E30 pulled over and or broken down


Thats it for now. Pray to the E30 gods that my car and I make it in one piece.

Why the Hell are you going to Spokompton?

Yup, going alone. There will be plenty of bored and lonely hours, hence ridiculous outfits and techno music.

Going to school, but lucky for me I'm moving into a buddies 6 bedroom 3 car garage (one bay is mine) house with a pool aka not in Spokompton. To make it even sweeter one of my roomates also has an E30.

Hmm, I might see you on 94/90... I am departing Michigan's UP Friday Morning bright and early for the PNW.

My family can make it from Bremerton to Butte Montana in one day. Im talking leave at 6 am arrive at 5pm.

Then from there to Bismarck in one day, and then from there to Duluth, WI... just as a guide.

Nice....I made a somewhat shorter trip last summer from OH to socal after buying my M. Wrong time of the year to cross country in a car with no A/C, but it was still fun.....even if I was alone the whole way. Met some interesting people having lonely drinks in bars after long days of driving though

From Pine River are going to run north and continue on west on Hwy 2 or you going to jump back on 94 in Fargo???

If you have a issues in western MT let me know especially if you are going along on 2 as thats right though my stomping grounds.
