Supercharger ~ I've seen go for 3500 used.
Turbo would be more but give more torque as well.

Meh, you can get an m30 for really cheap. Goodntight has already proved what you can do with one of those.

Well lets see. So spend spend yet another $10k on my e30? HMMM Well the suspension is pretty well sorted. I guess I could get it reapainted and some flairs. Find a nice ITB kit and some nice BBS 3 pieces in 15x10. I guess a nice fresh m20 would be nice too.

400 in an e30 Is a lot of fun. I rode in Bimmertims s50 e30 with our manifold and millers software and its ridiculous . He had no problem controlling it at all.
set it up properly and use your head and 400 is not outlandish
