I am sure that in the past he was a stand up seller, however this is business. your past rep. does not mean anything if you are no longer providing that kind of service level.

sure call the guy, but honestly, 9 months? 6 months with no Vendor reply?

totally unaceptable in any way.

also, I have no personal issue with anyone mentioned in this fread, but would be WAY more furious than OP in this situation.

No worries I wish you would have called and told me you wanted a refund. In today's day and age everyone seems to rely on email and no one ever pics up a phone anymore. I bet 80% of my sales are done via email even 3k + jobs up, never even talk to the customer. Anyway payment sent...

I did in the past - full message box. I work at night and generally wake up at 7p in your time zone then go to work. Phone is especially hard for me.
