Doing body work and painting my car was the worst fucking job I've had to do. I probably had 250 hours in just block sanding on that job. I did it because I didn't want to pay for a good paint job... but if I were to do it again I would pay for it in a heartbeat. I'll do small body repairs again, but never in my life will I do a whole fucking car.

I havent tackled too much but I did replace my ebrake. The ebrake cable had fused to the car and that was a disaster trying to remove.

Props to you sir. I tried it without removing the intake and it felt like I broke 17 bones in my hands. And I have small hands.
Flipping the hoses on 24V with the intake on is like trying to reassemble the spine through a vagina.

I never want to do it again.
                  +1

I have done a few, was a pain in the azz, but with alot of wiggling and jamming it comes out and in with just the removal of the fan motor.

the heatercore in a euro 318iS with no A/C on the other hand is impossible!!! I just cut apart the plastic and taped it all back together--hope it works this winter!

Wiper Mechanism was a total and complete bitch.
Along with the driver's door, still isn't aligned right. FML.
