uh.. a stock ix is closer to 2950lbs. the heaviest was the '88 or a 4 door auto, which is around 3000lbs. he's definitely talking about a 325is..

There was an article in the latest C&D that said starting base price would be $28k. They designed the chassis and power train before the exterior. Their goal is to be as good or better than the Porsche Cayman at handling, which coincidently C&D named the best handling car under $100k. 0-60 is 6.0 sec. , 2800lbs, 200+hp flat 4 engine and center of gravity 1inch lower than the Cayman with the engine tucked in closer to the fire wall. It's 2+2 seating means I can fit my kids in it, which I will use on my wife as an excuse to buy one:) They also said the chassis can handle more power but had to keep it as affordable as possible (which implies to me that there will be kick ass later versions of this thing with more power.) This is going to be good.

I'm very pleased with this car. I'm glad Soob is getting back into the coupe game. Admittedly, the Toyota version is pretty good looking as well, although it will probably be marketed as a Scion in the US.

Hell yeah, old Subaru's FTW. This got me around for the last year until I finally got my E30 on the road. 4wd+snow tires meant it was absolutely unstoppable in winter.
