        It was an s50 bottom end, m50 NV top end with 325is NV intake cams. His goal was to have all BMW parts in the motor, nothing aftermarket and to eliminate VANOS as he was tired of fixing it on other peoples cars.

            I remember reading this when you posted it originally, and now seeing the update is just too cool. I love seeing stories like this, someone being able to fulfill the dream that someone else wasn't able to accomplish.
