There are many companies that provide classic auto insurance in the market. I have always preferred the Hartford for their service and processing the claims in a fair way.

OP, classic insurance policies have a lot of contingencies; age (you and car), mileage limits, useage intentions, where the car is stored, what other vehicles you have.. it would be better to just shop around for insurance. go for a high deductible (like $1000), low limits and no liability, just collision insurance. be smart about it and you'll find an agreeable number.
then don't r3v your car or drive like a fool.
On their website, they say it is 5 pictures that they will request, but I didn't get that far.

Specialty insurance from a classic car insurance company offers a number of benefits for those who own and drive collector cars. Companies that specialize in antique car insurance can offer better coverage with lower premiums than a standard auto insurance company, but the better coverage and lower premiums come with some restrictions.

Im not gonna lie, its 7am i havnt slept yet so i skimmed through this thread...but.
Ive got classic insurance on my Charger (hagerty) ive had the car for about 4 years now, and up until i took it apart last year to restore her i put 20k on her in 3 years...hagerty never checked my mileage...and well, worst case a few minutes, a 1/2 wrench and an electric drill and i can put my odometer wherever i want it.
But they do require you to have another car insured in your name (so they know the classic isnt your primary) and generally you need to be over 25 (im 23, so its in my moms name and im listed as a driver for the time being)
