I HATE it when people send me fundage as a gift. I don't like it when people don't watch their asses. I'm a seller, and I'm responsible for anything that goes wrong. But if I die before I can send your package out, I don't want you to be fucked outta that $14.00 that you spent expecting to get something.
I hate that too. I don't care about the $1.36 fee or whatever. especially because it won't let you get their address, so you have to remember what their SN is and PM them about it.

Tried calling it but it's been disconnected.

This guy lived a few miles from me, even came over one night and bought some stuff. Seemed like a nice guy but from the looks of it screwed over a bunch of people and dipped out.

This is one reason I have never bought an parts from people online. I had a guy get mad at me because I wanted to go to his house that was 2 hours away and pick up a $30 part.

If you drove 2 hours to pick up a 30 dollar part from me. I'd be ecstatic that I didn't have to ship it, and make it 20 bucks.

That's kinda what I thought, but he got mad because he wanted to ship it and didn't want me to come.

He was probably making meth and didn't want to be disturbed. You disturbed him. No bueno.

That's pretty silly. I've been buying car parts online for probably 10 years and only been screwed once or twice. The internet is here to stay, don't be afraid of it.

OP, I think PayPal will take care of you.

^^^This. I have a lot of parts that I can sell and ship but because I'm super anal about shit breaking and not being able to arrive or people thinking I'm trying to scam them, I usually only sell to locals.

You also have to think about the people out there that buy a cheap part just to see what else the seller has. They'll break in and steal the expensive stuff at a later date. He was probably just trying to protect himself.

That's why body werks in Detroit doesn't let people look around their yard usually. When I asked to have a look around he asked where I was from, I told him Ann arbor and he let me, but told me he would shoot me if he ever saw me back there without asking him first again lol.

It might be silly but I will eliminate myself from ever being screwed. I'm not saying I have never bought anything off the Internet, because I have. But I will research they're user name neorealism hand and if they have the slightest bit of negative feedback. Another reason I wanted to come was because he said he had wheels and some other stuff he would sell me and told me to stop by and look at his stuff. So I didn't understand his reasoning.

I would meet at a gas station or somewhere five or ten minutes from home, everyone is happy.

This is how i roll. Except for the police giving you extra attention if it's after dark it has worked well.
