they gave you $3500 for that? haha. someone's getting a bonus this year, and it's not you.

they gave me $3100 for my beat to shit eta i paid $1300 for 7 months prior. the damage looks almost identical.

screw uninsured motorists coverage, use your insurance. that's what it's there for. that's easily a $8000 e30.

That would be very fixable, were there any body shops left that want to actually do work. As it is, I doubt you can even talk anyone into working on it, unless the situation is very different from here.

I didn't have collision coverage, otherwise I would have gotten more. The other driver didn't have insurance, zero assets, etc. so it had to fall under my uninsured motorist policy, which was covered up to $3,500. Yea, blows.

I'm still taking him to small claims for the remaining value, but he's a dead beat. I'll be surprised if I see any money out of him.

That's really odd, that your uninsured benefit would be that low. Did you check the contract?

Donate to a junk yard????? No such thing. They will sell it to a junk yard. and junk yards will give them minimum dinero. They will sell it back to you for $400, to save transport cost. The junk yard will only give them $200. Insurance companies research evry detail BEFORE settlement.

i was right, they have to cut you a deal to take your car, you dont have to accept it their deal if you dont want to, but it doesnt matter since he got his money and kept his car already.
