Do you know what the difference between a "lip" and a "valance" is?

You keep saying valance.. But I think you mean lip

Well, today I ripped off my front valence on some freshly plowed snow that was unavoidable. Then I picked up a '94 Chevy Suburban 1500 to use as my winter vehicle, just a few hours too late, fml. I guess I'll be fabbing some new mounting brackets this winter, and refinishing my valence....

Uhh ya. The "lip" is attached to the "valance". I cant tell if thats just a late model valance or not on my phone.

Okay. You know the difference. So, you're taking your valance of for the winter? Why?

Already undercoated the car, going to put some extra weight in the trunk, get a set of heavy duty rubber mats. Make sure my AAA is up to date and buying snow tires this month for my basketweaves. I love me some winter driving.

I guess you don't know how to properly read. I said they have been doing a lot of road work lately and it has been getting down to the 30s so I mise as well take it off in preporation for the winter. It has taken a lot of beating lately. Why not just take it off instead of raising the car?

WOW. Shooting those guns off pretty quick aren't you.

                            1) What's going to protect your oil cooler, radiator, aux. fan and radiator support?

                            2) How bad are the roads in your area? I mean really... We talking 6-12" rocks laying around?

                            3) You really want to ride around in your car like this for 4-5 months:

My valence sits 2-3" from the ground and our roads are terrible.

People everywhere have terrible roads. The main road through my town has to be treated like an autox, with potholes being the cones.
