I did on my ex wives car. She never did stop till she hit that truck.

I say strip off all extra body panels. Ditch all the seats. Run the OE 14 inchers and 195s. Tape the air filter upright 90 degrees into the flow of air.

yeah that's what I was thinking, just worded it wrong I guess. what about exhaust wraps on boosted applications?

Solid mounts will make it feeeeel faster. Better for track cars, and if you like a lot of vibration.

chrome makes the exhaust gases exit faster.

Solid engine mounts will not transmit more torque to the wheels

It may improve the torque response from the engine to the wheels, but the overall amount of torque stays the same.

You exert a force with your hand on a concrete wall, say 40 lbs, the wall has an equal and opposite reaction force of 40 lbs. You and the wall are both stationary since the forces equal eachother. The amount of deflection the concrete exhibits due to the 40 lb force of your hand on the wall is not detectable with the naked eye but it deflects a very small amount.

Now, you exert a force with your hand on a wall with thick foam padding. The same 40 lb force as before. This time you notice that the force you applied to the wall caused the foam padding to deflect about an inch. Even though the foam padding deflected a little bit, the wall is still reacting with the same 40 lb of force that the concrete wall reacted with.

Solid engine mounts deflect less for a given load than rubber, but at the end of the day, the reacting forces and moments which the engine produces are the same for each mount. The solid mounts deflect less and the deflection of the mount may reach steady state a fraction of a fraction of a second faster, but there is no more peak torque going to the wheels.

OP go find a local gas station that does not have 10% ethanol. They are out there, and good fuel makes a hell of a difference.
