I forgot to add, the weight is negligable. the weight distribution is still pretty close to 50/50 and the awd system is only about 145lbs. that's the difference between me and a few of the tubby guys around here. and if you were really worried about the weight (I'm not), there's lots you can do to go on a diet..

I love my ix to death. Yeah I cant get my rear end around and do donuts, but the car is incredible. Might cost a couple more bucks in the long run, but I get to drive an e30 like I stole it, in a snowstorm.

Thanks for the info guys... its good to hear that there is some IX fanatics around. Well i wont be picking this car up for a month or two... so we'll see how it works out. I am excited though.
