the mustang is really becoming a better vehicle these days. new ones compared to the late 90s-early 2000s is night and day.

straight axle rear end kills if for me tho. why not IRS??

Haha as a Ford dealer I have to say go for it! Trust me we sell these all the time and I have had nothing but good comment about them, not to mention that I love test driving them. Plus if youre into tuning, a kenne bell supercharger kit and youre bumping into 700 horses really quick...

Snob aura > Redneck aura. I'd rather have the 135i. It's your money, and it looks like I'm in the minority here.

I would rather have the 135i, but a 5.0 isn't bad at all. what is the price difference over there for the 2?
a Mustang is a mustang, I am sure after 5 years of hard driving in it everything is going to rattle and be falling apart. seemed like the fox bodies didn't even make it to 3 years old before all the plastic, glue and crappy clips all started falling off back then.
but the motors sure are fun and sound great too.

mustang power yeah .. but :/

its a great machine long history I got a 67 with sentimental value was my fathers but if you plan on modding it tracking it I dont know about that.... they have a bad history of always breaking on the track lane or left dead at the side roads something always breaks. I been around mustang alot and in mustang forums and thats all you hear is broke broke broke:( but its a great car for hitting the high ways with the rumbling sound!!

I'm surprised at how many of you say the mustang. I don't know, I am sort of biased against mustangs even if they are pretty good cars.

I'd probably do it. Sound, power and gearing are all great. Coyote motor is good stuff.

5.0 no question. handles very well for an american sports car, and its batshitinsanefast in a straight line.
