FedEx Man brought me presents! **UPDATED 1/15**

I have received 2 out of the 3 packages I have been expecting!
EDIT: Euro plate filler came today! :D

First to come was my Sparco Front Strut Brace - $100 shipped: thanks UDM Motorsport

    Second is my 98 Seimmens 328 MAF and 99 M3 21.5# injectors:

(What is the green little thingy, do I need to order 3 more when I install.....? I assume the black thing is a O-ring, and what's the yellow thing?)

What a deal! 8) $130 for BOTH, SHIPPED. Off of Bf.c. Sweetness.

Finally, I expect my euro plate filler to come from Greg, aka Mtechnik-3, very soon. $35

A great use of $265.......now I only need to buy a SMT6 this summer to complete the MAF conversion.....oh, and get my broken rocker arm repaired........that too. Will happen soon enough.

Mspiegle, make a write-up for the MAF conversion already!!! We all wanna read it. :D

That Sparco bar will keep your chassis nice and stiff while it sits in your driveway waiting to be fixed.

So what's in package #3? So far you've done quite well.

Amen to that. I'd like to know how it all works. For the price its worth considering.

          your m20 doesn't need 21.5lb 4 pintle injectors
even 17lb 4 pintles are more than you'd need, unless you're planning on a hefty turbo
          i want them *whine whine*

j/k. I was expecting some comments about that ;) but I found some deals I couldn't pass up. Especially the MAF and injectors.

But the Sparco will really help at the autocross and driving school, which gives me an April deadline to have my car fixed. Until then, I'll safely drive the winter beater I have.

P.S. I'm transferring funds into paypal right now to buy a JC chip. That should be at my house in a week!

People have recommended or upgraded themselves to 19lb with the M30 AFM or MAF swap.....and I was looking for those.....but since I ran across these first, I jumped on them instead.

If you want some, contact Stu, I believe he still has a set of 21.5# injectors.

those are 19lb single pintle injectors, i have them in my m20, they're definitely more than I need with the bigger AFM
                I want your 21.5s for my m50 ;)

getting parts from Stu is cheating, because his car is my alter ego

oic. sweetness. I got some sweet injectors then. :D

I won't ever need that much fuel flow.....but it'd good to know I could if I wanted to! :P

The green thing are the Pintel caps, yes you need those. The yellow things are spacers to help keep the O-rings tight and you need those also.

you can get caps and o-rings at any decent autoparts store. they're cheap, should be less than $10 for all of them.

Injectors like that should be sent to a shop that rebuilds injectors. They match them for flow, pressure test them, and replace any parts (pintals, rings) to make them like new. They usually charge around $25 per injector.

And 21.5's with a 2.5L M20 with a stock head?! Why? Those injectors are designed for big displacement 24v engines, why run them on a stock M20? I would recommend getting 17# injectors off an M50, at most.

I don't know about 21# injectors but my car runs great on 19# from a mustang.. I even get better gas mileage.

Alright, Alright....they're a little overkill, but I see the solution.

Bryson, find me some tested 19lb single pintle injectors with new o-rings and I'll simply trade you. You want my 21.5#, and my engine only needs 17lb or 19lb......

and I think Stu would find it more appropriate as well......even though they would be going to his rival :)

P.S. Stu, I got the 21.5#'s because people use 19lb fine and I assumed 21.5 would be cool too. They are overkill, but would still work, no? As far as correct fueling, I'd only put them in with the SMT6, so would have been accurate, right? Oh well, didn't mean to run injectors I don't need to. They were just a sweet deal.
