I'll trade you for the ones that are in my car right now, I can put my stock ones back in for the short while longer that I'll have an m20.

is that stress bar painted or primered? I've been meaning to set aside 100 bucks for one of those things

Those injectors are oversized for the motor.. you seem to think that that is ok and in a way cool (because its overkill) but an injector is not something you overkill on- you dial it in. A smaller injector at a high pressure is BETTER than a big-ass one thats just bleeding fuel. 21.5 is massive for your motor.. absolutely too much.

nah, I didn't think it'd be cool. I'd thought it would still work tho  . Oh well, I'm going to trade with Bryson. That way all will be right.

            strut bar

            Bryson,
the strut bar by Sparco only comes in one color, RED.
what my friend did was to strip that paint off and resprayed it flat black. It actually looks pretty good. I have another friend powdercoating the bar, not sure what color but i'm sure it will look good.

Wait, I thought you were gonna do an M50 swap? Or do I have you confused for someone else?

they will probably work okay but you will probably run a bit rich. I think 19# is probably the max for a stock motor. On the other hand, they are really easy to put in so you may as well try them and see what happens. It takes maybe an hour to put them in even if you've never done it before (assuming mechanical inclination).

Yes, I wanted to. But it turns out it wouldn't have been that budget sensible.

I have decided to instead just fix my head, swapping for a head rebuilt 40K ago (With either a 272 or 274 cam). I couldn't invest ALL of my money (and then some) on the M50 swap right now. (My car is more than just the engine.) Instead, I am going to do the MAF conversion this summer, I can now afford the Sparco bar as well, some cosmetic items like IS lip and euro plate filler, and pay for driving school.

It makes more sense this way. I was got all excited. I dunno. Oh well.
No matter how much I wanted a M50.....I just couldn't.....

I think I'm better off with a driving school, sparco bar, certain cosmetic peices and new paint maybe, and perhaps autocross tires for my baskets......I'll have to see how the heavy the Borbets seem.

As for 21.5#, I'm not going to use them. I'm trading for 19# injectors. Oh well, I just assumed they would work fine, that and the deal was good. I was looking originally for 19's, but I happened to come across 21.5.....

Ummm what happened to the M50? Why spend $ on the M20 when you're planning an M50?

I was going to take this moment to get a M50, since it'd cost $$$ to fix the M20 and I could use that instead to help me with the M50......but anyway, I decided against it. I could have probably pulled together the funds.....but I wouldn't have anything left. So, I will just fix my single-cam.....and use the change to upgrade the other portions of my E30.

Oh yeah, I forgot....the same local guy who hooking me up with the rebuilt head also knows someone who wants the 3.73LSD and can get me the 4.10LS! :D

I know I wussed out. But oh well. I think my ride will be nicely built-up and good looking enough.....and this way I can afford driving school and autocrossing.

                            UPDATE!

Bryson received the 21.5# injectors yesterday. My 19# single pintle injectors should arrive today and suit my motor much better.

But I got my euro plate filler today! Thanks greg (Mtechnik-3)

Here is the real fast test fit. I really like the improvement!

I want to paint my spoiler black, and that should make the back end look pimp. Oh, besides the tweaked rear valence  . I need to work on that.
