    pros
Plug n play units available, no MAF/AFM, easy to tune, etc

    cons
Can be confusing if you don't have a PnP unit, on the spendy side if you do have a PnP unit

I want MS so bad... I am saving for it. I have seen many dynos where a stock car gained 10WHP just from unplugging motronic and putting MS in. After removing the stock intake they got a nother 3WHP. Impressive stuff

Best Bang For Buck Upgrade IMO. A m20b25 with exhaust and a proper intake on MS should have 190 at the flywheel.

lol u lie bro, I GOT LIEK 200WHP just from MEGASQUIRTLE

but seriously... yeah, I run the M10 on it. If you're uncomfortable with electronics I don't suggest you do the project. You should at minimum be able to diagnose any electrical issues you might have with your car. If you can't do that you probably will want to kill yourself 1/2 way through if you don't have a PnP unit. I made my entire harness from scratch.

                A M20B25 had 167hp from factory? yes?

Megasquirt is goof for 10hp... that is a fact. It has gains of that or better to MarkD chips... if you know how to tune that is.

Exhaust you can pick up 10 or so. 19lb injectors and in theory 190hp at flywheel. Now all M20's are tired though and likely the numbe rof flywheel horsepower is much lower

If you seriously think you can gain power simply from putting in bigger injectors i suggest you read a bit.

^ if you are running megasquirt... boviously your stock intake is gone. A miller MAF is a proven gain... and using the MS MAP sensor means little resistance for the intake air. More air means you need more fuel which means more power... duh

If you run MS on stock injectors you must like a lean AF ratio

Personally, I would think that most of the gains from either Miller OR MS are purely from the timing advance and not as much from the intake restriction. The MS dynos never said they set the timing advance to stock spec. Just that they "tuned" it on the dyno, and who wouldnt want to tune for a power increase ?

I honestly don't see why you would pay 800 bucks for a pnp unit to gain 10 HP. Its a waste. Mind as well add pnp ms because you have to. Ie Turbo. Whatever.

Yes, because engine modification is just adding numbers together.

I'll be going MS3E for my M10 turbo 2002 project, should be fun to upgrade an engine from a carb and mechanical distributor to completely electronic spark and fuel.

because you can easily retune for any mods that you do, including turbo.
