yeah i have only seen frost on the outside of windows...

then you are lucky. the last 3 winters, all of my winter e30s leaked water in the floorboards, and would frost the inside every evening if the sun was shining around noontime.

If there's moisture inside the car, such as melting snow from your feet on the floor, it'll start to evaporate and when the temperature drops again at night it'll completely ice up the inside of the windows. Sucks royally.
