boxster. 944 turbo maintenance will eat you alive.

because none of us stay on topic, i suggust you get a 996 carrera or carrera s. 02+ to avoid fried egg headlamps. more man-credibility from jafxod.

i drove a well maintained 02 automatic boxster S and it felt like a turd. my friend's MKIV GTI felt a million times faster and better planted. i'm sure the 6 speed would've made a world of difference though. this particular boxster had a drop and BBS RGRs on it, but in stock form it's far from my favorite porsche.

i love the new new boxsters though!

Definately not the boxter, pick up the 944 turbo, you'd be much happier. And i hope you know how MUCH MONEY! POrsche parts are and repairs/upgrades, etc. I didn't know till I started my new job, and everyone complains about bmw parts being expensive. CHHH.

Hope you got a fat wallet, you can build the ultimate e30 for half the price of a decent 944 turbo or boxter.

If you plan on upgrading, we have nice quality parts and can get oem parts.

I used to have a 944 turbo and had to fix a lot of stuff, luckily I know a guy whos been in 944 turbos for a long time so I get the labor/parts cheap

whatever car I get, labor/parts is never a concern

I used to work at a porsche stealership and got to drive a lot of stuff. I hated the boxter but rather enjoyed the 951, so that would get my vote.

I say just walk around to where you need to go and use public transportation until your options are better.

I could imagine an old forced induction porsche would be expensive to maintain. Boxsters are just straight up lame. If I had to make a choice I would go with the turbo.
