You guys just can't get enough.
The car is listed for sale here, Bimmerforums and Craig's list. It's going on Bringatrailer this week, and on eBay again. I spoke to two different people via phone last night who are interested in buying. And no, I have not sold a single other part off of the car, including the wheels. The car is being sold as a whole.
If the admins and mods are so fed up with me at this point, they can ban me, that is up to their discretion. Even though it appears to not be at a rapid enough pace to satisfy the torch-and-pitchfork mob, I am doing whatever is necessary to replace the funds due to Yan and others. I AM NOT TURNING MY BACK ON THIS SITUATION.
Much to the contradiction of current popular opinion, I'm am going to follow through on this. Want to keep the opinion that I'm going to bitch out on this whole thing? Fine. I'm obviously not going to change your opinion until I have rectified it,and even then, I'm fairly certain it won't make any difference. You're just going to be proven wrong. Everyone I know knows I'm now selling the car and getting out of the enthusiast scene. I no longer want to keep the car or any parts from it. Want to buy it? Make me an offer, but I'm not going below $7k, period. if that's not ok with you, I'm sorry. So say what you will, I'm done trying to please the small mob that's gathered and fix the shit situation I created at the same time. I'm going to fix what I've done here the way I'm planning to, and I'm done.
Mr. Burns, you want those seats? Shoot me an offer so I can at least but a pair of junkyard replacements, because I'm not continuing listing the car for sale with no seats in it.Last edited by Jand3rson; 03-04-2015, 11:34 AM.

Interesting to see history repeat itself.
Six months after YAN's loss at the hands of Vlad, the infamous blue "M3" touring (Vladwagen) went on eBay, with similar shenanigans and shilling taking place, to the extent that Jalopnik picked up the story, calling Vlad "The Web's Most Infamous BMW Owner". They immortalized the shilling via a screen cap of a discussion between yours truly 'Chapel'.
Wowed by sparkling blue paint and a pair of shapely legs protruding from a short skirt (the stack of trophies, not so much), I fell hook line and sinker for this BMW E30 M3 touring custom that showed up on eBay a few weeks ago.
This was Vlad's last hurrah, online anyway.
---------------
Even more interesting than the above was Josh's take-no-prisoners approach to handling Vlad. There are many quotable quotes in that thread, but these roar:
Originally posted by JandersonI will never give Vlad a break until what he did is righted. Yan is a friend, and I don't let people get away with doing shit like what he did to my friends.
Originally posted by JandersonThis car should be sold, and proceeds from the sale sent to Yan to have the car that Vlad butchered stripped and repainted.
What a tangled web we weave. :( Jacking with the eBay listing? Really? Pièce de résistance.

Car sold, didn't sell, salvage title or not, where are the results.
3 years nothing, now almost a month since it was forced to light and a measly $90 has been sent.
Round and round and round we go. I was trying to remain neutral on it but the lack of fruit is making the rest of the story look thinner than it already was.
And 7k too little for a salvaged car? Your never going to sell the car with that attitude, because you obviously don't want to. So quit the bullshit and strip it down to a stock vehicle so you can repay. After all you are the one who agreed to repay regardless of what happened.
Also what's up with the web site donations that never made it to James? Were those stolen too?
Fuck it, nothing is going to come of this.Last edited by Exodus_2pt0; 03-04-2015, 08:09 AM.

I'm a little shocked that only $90 has been sent to Yan after all this talk. Didn't Josh sell his wheels too?

Yeah, it's a "reconstructed" or salvage title. It's so annoying, because there wasn't frame damage, it was just enough damage to the rear quarter panel to total it.

Is it salvaged? Ya that's going to hurt it pretty good.
I still can't believe people will buy normal e30s for $7,000 +

So far, I have sent $90 to Yan after selling my steering wheel via PayPal (not the same account as the old one).
