Karma doesn't necessarily have to be brought back around by the "universe" though, so with help from people like on R3v you should take that as "good karma" because you are a good person that people want to help. I am fairly confident if you were a douche and Vlad messed up your paint then R3v would not have wanted to help you.
I don't know Yan either, but from reading all of his posts here and on s14.net, you can tell he is a definitely a strong faith in God (he mentions God numerous times in other replies). While I may have lost mine, it is refreshing to see someone whose faith makes them completely selfless and moral. Reading his posts are inspirational and make me want work harder at turning the other cheek. Thanks for that Yan.

I didn't donate cause that's stupid, if I want to help someone I'll give them money directly not give my money to some random guy on the internet and trust him just cause he has a lot of posts lol Josh is stupid and any one who gave him money is equally as stupid. There's no way to prove it either way but common sense would have avoided this situation entirely.

Ive done worse things in my early years and have paid a price and learned from it. I think this is Joshs turning point and Im willing to forgive and give the guy the chance he deserves. I really think his heart is in it and we should forgive and make josh prove himself I think he will do right
I agree 100%. Josh definitely made a mistake, but having made mistakes (just like everyone) we grow and learn from them. I think Josh did a great thing by stepping up and taking on a lot of responsibility for organizing it all. The outcome wasn't the way we all wanted(including Josh) but still, he stepped up when no one else did.

Yan, don't feel guilty at all. I can only speak for myself, but I definitely didn't donate for any other reason than to help out a member in need. If a T-shirt was made I would absolutely purchase one for myself, as well as my wife to help Yan out again.

Alright, I've thought about this for a few days while everybody else was yap-yap-yappin'.
Sketchy as the story sounds, the only fact worth anything is "innocent until proven guilty", and I'd like another t-shirt.
And locking the thread would be a bad idea.

I wish I was more like Yan. <t-shirt quote...

I believe Yan already knew he has more support from this community than he can handle. So much that may put a burden on his shoulder and feel obligated. I believed that is kind of person he is even though we shouldn't feel that way for him. He has spoken, so I think T-shirts, stickers, and GoFuckMe funds is a bad idea at the moment.

Recouping the funds for what it was meant for i think is meaningless now because of what has been said and done. It may only create another hardship for Josh. I rather to have a story that is believable. I am sure that there are people knew what happened to the funds but withheld the information for the best interest of this forum and forum members. I respect that.

And Yes, I did said I don't give a fuck and move on, but I just had to put this out there.

For sure a sick idea. It should like a drawing or a side rendering of his car. Sorta' cartoony looking or something. Like this style but the whole car. And on the back of the shirt in white lettering the "I helped Yan's car" or something of that nature? Im totally in for one if thats the case I love that idea.

Yan seems to be a good example of a "good person". Me personally I would not be able to let things go and keep my composure after the first situation he has gone through.

I have followed the whole Vlad thing for a while and there were a lot of people through different threads that always praised him and commented on how they wanted him to paint their car. So this could have happened to any one of us.

I don't personally know Yan but from reading some of the things he wrote, I get the feeling he has an "all things happen for a reason" attitude and that he believes in some sort of karma in how all good and bad things come back around. Josh is working on making things square with you. But there are still people on here who say they want to help. People that donated before and people who say they want to donate now. I too, would like to donate to this cause.

So I have been thinking about it. I have seen threads on here where someone is trying to save money for a turbo or whatever and they make a t-shirt design to sell. I think nitrowrestler did it once. Why doesn't someone make a t-shirt design that has Yan's car on it, and some phrase on it like "I helped paint Yan's car"? We have plenty of people on this forum who could come up with a design and have everybody who wants to help buy a shirt with all profits going to Yan.

You could have a few of the better designs voted on to find the one that is best liked and have a hyper link attached so we could order. The same hyper link could be attached to multiple websites including some of the sponsors if they wanted to. I am always up for a cool new E30 shirt and if it is for a good cause most people will probably agree.

I just thought I would throw that idea out there in case anyone would want to run with it.

So this is sort of contradicting my last post but I think we should at least give Jand3rson the benefit of the doubt. It would either suck to be in his position right now, a lot. Or he wouldn’t feel bad about it at all. So bitching about it doesn't help much in both situations. It does seem hella shady I’ll give you guys that but still. Imagine how shitty it would feel if you, lost money for someone and got blamed for stealing it. I’m not saying he didn't steal it but we have no proof as of right now. It will get worked out….hopefully..

For whatever is worth and in tone with Yan's sentiments to never ask for anything from anyone equals Action.,
His Reaction was just as pure and genuine, he received moral support, wanting nothing else was his Reaction.

Someone stepped up with good intensions and it backfired on him for one reason or another.
Redemption is at hand, give it time to unfold., no-one else can do that for Josh but him self.

To expect nothing from anyone = the notion of self reliance and selfworth. Priceless.

Thanks for keeping us safe Yan, and may your future be as bright as your views of life.
    Aloha.
