    at that price in the condition you state, I think you will be either;
A)waiting on the market to increase to make any profit worth tying up $18.5k(how long can you afford to tie up 20k?)
    or
    B) investing many additional Dollars to bring it into pristine condition to sell for a premium .

that is a small market with a specific buyer.

you should pass. leve it to an enthusiast to love it.

I dunno, I see nothing wrong with buying a car to flip. Without seeing the car its hard to say for sure, but low mileage cars have been selling for well into the 20's. Your not gunna get rich off of it, but you may make a few grand. Be ready for scrunity. The people buying these cars at those prices expect alot, and rightfully so.

Plus the more you get for it, the more mine is worth lol :)

I say leave it for someone who actually wants to fix it up an keep it. IMO an enthusiast would be more likely to buy one that needs some work than to buy one that someone else has already fixed up just to make a profit.

Why dont you buy it and keep up with it and leave it to your kid when you die. if he does the same thing it will be worth so much. BOOM there u flipped it right there !!!

This makes sense, and the fact you stated you'd be buying to flip??? Small market for that car, low mileage cars with no track time usually go for more. This isn't Pimp my Ride.

It is alpine white with a black interior with 69,000 miles. The has been used as a DD and has been tracked. It has been maintained meticulously and just had a new clutch, and new brakes. It has coil over suspension, strut bar, and roll cage. Do you guys think there is any room to make a profit flipping this?

First of all, you didn't find anything if the above are the conditions and terms. Sounds like he is in the know and most likely has an eye on the proper forums and auction sites.

Answer to your retarded question is NO.
The lower mileage cars that are bringing bigger $$ is because they are valued for being stock, pristine and unmolested.
A car with coil-overs, strut bars, a roll cage and track time does certainly not fit into this category.
Could be a very nice car and could command that asking price...but that would be near the ceiling at best.
So no room to flip for profit.

Pretty sure this is a bogus thread anyway.

From a guy who has flipped a lot of cars, I wouldn't touch an M3 as a flip for anything more than $10K in similar condition. Best you could get is $12K-$15K and that would be depending on finding the right buyer. You'll end up spending more in listing fees from ebay, autotrader, etc. than you would want.

I will also assume you don't have the extra $18.5K to pay cash, so you'll be financing it. Add in the interest for each payment and you'll be in the red from day one.

The only way this would work out is if you saw it on the way back from a bakery trip with your dad and the car had centerlock wheels.

Track toys are never worth what an oem car is worth... 60k on a track car is like 200k on a street car. However, if its been prop maint no big deal, but I would imagine an engine refresh is in the not to distant future. It sounds like it is priced where it ought to be. I am sure the owner knows exactly what he has and what its worth if he has track prepped it. Not a flip canadite in my opinion,,,, and also the car is most certainly known in the e30 m3 community if it is tracked,,,, its a pretty tight nit group who are very knowledgeable about who owns what and when they change hands.

                          HAHAHAHA!!!! Classic.
I have heard there is another m3 parked, in black, right behind and it is 18.5k for both cars.
