        I did this with a red 3 ball on my Zinnoberrot. It was fun, it's weighted, had some good throws, and only drilled it out for fun. Find a drill bit the same size as your shift peg, drill, and throw it on. I didn't do any fancy shit and it didn't slip off once.

          That is what I originally did with this one, but I overshot the size on the shaft a bit, hence why it was loose. A bit more time, a steel sleeve, and some JB Weld, and its as good as ever.

                My lathe does have threading capability, however, my Grandfather (original owner) died before he showed me how to use it.

                All threading I do is via tap and die, what do you need threaded, if its a standard thread pitch, adapters can be made fairly easily and finished via tap and die....
