No, he's definately an Iruni...
Talked about it in an interview once, his father is persian, and mother is french.
Of course in this day and age, many Persian don't reveal their heritage...
But OP, that's seriously awesome shit.
Also consider yourself lucky that Macenroe didn't own it, otherwise it would have been thrashed to hell

That's a really cool story! I remember reading years ago that when Agassi first started making good money he had a habit of buying his friends cars. If he liked you, he'd just buy you a car. This could be one of those cars. You could run a Carfax and see who the first registered owner is. It would add a neat provenance and increase the car's value. Hold onto that paperwork!
Seats look cherry. Every day I hate my comfort seats a little more LOLsigpic

I'd just be happy the radio code was written down. That's worth it's own weight in gold.1974.5 Jensen Healey : 2003 330i/5Comment

I plan on doing a intro/build thread soon. I owe a lot of gratitude to Rich, delatlanta1281, & another forum member for rebuilding the engine.Wait, whoa. Do you mean I put a motor into you/ Andre Agassi's car?
That's awesome.
Sup Nate!
Luke,
this car was a dream to work on. The only frustration after the motor swap was switching the cps and the impulse wire causing a non-start situation for @ 10 minutes.'91 325ic M-Technic, '12 Civic Si, '07 TL Type-S

Gracias amigo! Same to you.I do ;) but it isn't my place to post them. It sure is beautiful though. Cool story behind it and how it came to Atlanta as well. I can assure you that the owner (OP) is one of those guys I have true respect for. Young guy with the right head on his shoulders. Not interested in primer, fiberglass, and sportmaxx. That's for sure.'91 325ic M-Technic, '12 Civic Si, '07 TL Type-S

Yeah my bro sent me this link. Its funny, because I actually do remember seeing an old faded check that was under the insulation in the trunk. I think it was signed "Perry". I'll check again when I get home.http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?p...d=aOozd2LtdR1M
Long article, but towards the bottom it mentions that Agassi bought a BMW convertible for his friend Perry Rogers in 1991 as a graduation present. Hmm... Do you happen to know the other previous owner's names? If P. Rogers is one, then that might make it even more likely.
If it was indeed a gift for Perry Rogers, I don't think Agassi would care about hearing the where-abouts of the mtech since they are reported to not get along anymore.'91 325ic M-Technic, '12 Civic Si, '07 TL Type-S

Why was the engine rebuilt?"I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj
