I've always preferred black kidneys. I think it blends better with the car. I've always been a fan of shadowline trim, titanium packages, etc. In terms of exterior changes, I think that will be the only piece that I will change from the original appearance. Maybe some Euro grills & a rear black plate filler panel.
My E30 was originally owned by Andre Agassi?

You'd better keep that with the car. Did you try emailing Agassi's people? maybe you can get a photoshoot or signature or something haha. This is very cool. I know what you mean about the black kidney's on the M tech. There is no chrome on the car except for the kidney. I'm on the fence about it but I have a spare blacked out grill I can swap if I want to change it up.

Totally cool story all the way around! AA was the original "bad boy" of tennis, more for his long hair and clothes than attitude. That title goes to McEnroe! Johnny Mac was a ferocious (and vocal!) competitor!
I'm dying to know, where did you spot the car listed for sale?Comment

Great score! I have the original listing on this car but I will only PM it to the owner. I found this car in Vegas and sold it to my buddy who in turn sold it to you.
Great story! :-)90 Merc Gaelendewagen

Oh ok. Yeah he told me about you. I found the listing from Vegas. It might have been from an iphone screen shot that you did on a forum or something. But thanks. I talked to the Vegas owner and the history & maintenance behind the car. He didn't know anything about Agassi's involvement either, which is bizarre considering all you have to do is see his name in the service book. I believe the seller in Vegas had the car for about 10 years.
You have a nice collection!'91 325ic M-Technic, '12 Civic Si, '07 TL Type-S
