I think that there are more nice/pretty NEW cars on the road today than there were 10 years ago. Also, keep in mind.. there have been hundreds of car models that are littered in junkyards everywhere that you've probably never heard of.
I think the difference between the "ugly" cars and the "OMG AEWSUM" cars is the affordability. Chances are.. if you own an e30 you're a broke ass college student.
a-fucking-men, i think e46s and e39s are nice though
i did't say i didn't like ALL cars after 95' there a few i like and a bunch idon't mind , E39, E46, Z8. and a few cars from other makes, but by choice ill never own any of them.
I once had a E53 X5. being form the same time period as E39, E46 it was very simular to E39/46 in materials, styling, and equipment. it was nice, but i couldn't stand the traction control, ABS, and it was difficult to see out of. it turned me off to cars of that era and newer.
never again though, newest BMW ill ever buy is a late model E34 540i or M5.
Chances are.. if you own an e30 you're a broke ass college student.
Not me. I can afford a much newer/nicer car, but as I've been telling my buddy for a while now, THERE'S IS NO CAR IN THE WORLD THAT I WOULD TRADE MY E30 FOR. If someone were to offer my any car in the world (but stipulate that I couldn't sell it) nothing else would do. No Italia, SLS, Z8, 8c, Ford GT, GT2 would do. I would keep my e30. With the E30 its all love no status.
I think the ugleist of all are the Hyundais.
E30 and E34 era may have been peak BMW. Love the styling and plenty of options. Also I don't wanna drive around in a giant computer. I know when to change my oil I dont need a computer doomsday count down to tell me.

Reason: mess up
once apon a time older cars were huge too. I had a 1973 Oldsmobile Delta 88 over here in Germany- it had a track of 215mm- no German car trailer is wider that 195mm for a car! Best thing is- it was a midsize car. the Olds 98 was even larger!
I do agree, i LOVE old cars, but not all are pretty either!
