Dam some of you people spent a shit ton of money on your cars!!! I would say im at 11k for my entire BMW project but thats INCLUDING my e36 m3 donor car from which i will be pulling the s50, tranny and steering rack and parting the rest out plus sell my m20 and getrag so im thinking ill be down to 7k total but i have a lot of stuff done to it as it sits
mod list:
My 1989 325i
s50 chipped=ready to install (have all swap parts too)
zf tranny=ready to install
95 m3 steering rack=ready to install
3.25lsd=ready to install
headers + custom magnaflow exhaust for s50=ready to install
esm 002s with new tires
new drilled rotors
coilovers
raceskid skidplate
new control arms, tie rods and bushings
smoked smiley headlights with the cross hair high beams
custom reupholstered sport seats (heated)
e30 m3 rear seat
full black interior (carpet, door panels, headliner, parcel shelf)
new deck, 6x9 rear speakers 5inch front, all wiring, 1800watt amp, 3 10inch JL subs
mtech wheel
IS front lip with splitter
pfeba rear spoiler (need to install)
zhp knob
M/// peddals
thats all i remember off the top of my head, i have a lot of little things done too. I did all the work myself so that kept my costs low for what i got. so im guessing ill be in it 7K but have a s50d e30 thats complete to my liking :)

god why did you have to start this thread lol
it forces me to realize my e30 insanity :weak:!!
so far ive got just over 32,000.00 into it not including the cost of the car (5200.00).
next week it goes in for radio = Mcintosh Mx406, amp = mcintosh MC440M or ZUKI 5 channel, speakers ? not sure yet along with a custom sub box.
also getting hood and new OEM fender painted and installed.
so ruffly 41,500-42,000.00 a the end of next week, and if the paint job doesn't hold up (im praying it does) ill be getting it painted again at the end of next summer so you can add another 4500.00 to that.....:(Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

Why did I just add this up...
I'm at $10,309 and climbing. This includes the $3,250 price of the car, insurance (one year), registration, a full body restore, lots of mods, the unavoidable s50 swap (have most of the parts) and the 5-lug swap that follows behind (still need the struts and springs). I can provide a detailed line item expense statement for those of you who find it helpful in the grieving process.
