    damn i dont even want to think about it...last time i added receipts total was 4k in just parts...and i have put about 1k more in parts and the car was 1k...and i havent counted labor of installing the parts at shops...

    id say i have spent about 8k

    i have a friend who bought a car for $500, sold the wheels the next for $900...

    That's the major parts, I don't wanna start thinking about how much I spent on things like shift knobs, trim, clamps, mirrors and other details.

    Total $30k and a E34 touring

    Everything I learnt by working on the car and the great feeling of driving around in a car i built myself: Priceless. :)

    All my maintenance costs have been offset by the profits generated parting cars out, And those same profits still buy more cars. Along with that the major parts to upkeep it (Driveshaft, Brake calipers, Brake master, etc.) came from the same cars being parted out.

    But, if you want ACTUAL numbers. I refuse. I will not add up what I've put into the car. That way it won't magically gain 2-3k worth of fake/psuedo value.
