How rare are these things in the US?? I have one from a '92 316i Touring(101-raging-HP) w/ 200k km(or 125k mi). The vehicle has a full BMW service history.
Actually, I've found the open version for $150- $200... they're pretty uncommon, but the 'bay
has no demand either, so just keep trolling. Then put the gear into an LSD case, and
you're good to go.
That said, it's been good for the 2002 race car, but I wouldn't want it on the street.
t
now, sometimes I just mess with people. It's more entertaining that way. george graves
318 manual verts came with 4.27. finding one that is lsd would be very rare here. a small case will hold up just fine in a n/a m20 car.
I have seen them go for €300-€350 over here in Germany, which equates to about $385-$450. Is that about the right price??
And there is also shipping to consider. I don't even know how much they weigh exactly. If it's under 20kilos/44pounds, shipping will be about $90. If it's over, but not exceeding 31.5kg/70lbs then about $105.
