Maybe, but I remember Vettel stopping his car not too many races ago and having the pit crew roll the car backwards (dangerous) so he wouldn't have to make another lap to get to pac ferme.

Perez came up through Ferrari's young driver program, so IF Webber does sign it will be a care taker roll, as in they don't expect him to stay long, just until Perez is ready/ has proven himself. Anyway, why not? He's at the end of his career and has the perfect opportunity to drive the for the biggest team in the paddock. He is also Alonso's first choice for a team mate. I can see it happening.

The reason Webber was signing 1 year deals with RBR is because they would keep him on and he wanted to take it 1 year at a time.

I think Perez still has to prove he is Ferrari worthy, but if he has the results this season the seat is his. I'd like to see button in the red car, but with 2 usgp, Where are the Americans? Seems like we don't even have any good future prospects.... Do we?

The GP there was a few weeks ago. Citizens were upset that the govt was spending all the $ to host a race while things there are pretty fragile politically.

He's been on rolling one-year deals with Red Bull for quite a few seasons now.

I don't see it happening. I really don't want to have to cheer for Ferrari next year.

I am def on this lotus bandwagon. I hope pirelli realizes that that black and gold car will sell lots of tires... They can wait till next year for ferrari.

I'm loving the way Lotus is looking this year. This season has great aspects. Second tier teams like lotus and mercedes are very competitive. First tier teams like Ferrari, RBR, and Mclaren are having minor struggles, breeding less domination. And to top it off, teams like Force India, Williams, and Sauber are having good runs, hot laps, and creative race strategies.

So many good things this year. I can't wait for the next race. Let's go Lotus!
