Why all of a sudden are all the races on fox. Sucks.

Not so much says the stewards,ha ha 20sec was a bit harsh, actually way harsh. He really got screwed by it being on the last lap, and since when was 20 sec the delta time down pitlane? Most of the stops I saw were around 16- 17 sec with a stop included. I thought he should have been stripped of 2nd but damn! Alonso is a happy boy right now.Comment

Yeah, it was way over the top... Vettel had already gained the position on Button, Button's rears were shot, couldn't get the power down and pushed out of the turn, so much that 2 of his wheels were beyond the white line. Vettel avoids a last lap contact by staying wide and gets hammered by the stewards. Maybe he should have pulled a Maldonado and just torpedoed Button instead... I think the stewards were miffed that they didn't get a decision on RBR in the pre-race meeting and decided to penalize them this way... Where's the consistency? I seem to remember Rosberg pushing drivers wide during passes earlier in the season and they never got penalized for completing the pass and avoiding the contact. Avoid the contact or crash them both out... hmmm... seems the stewards want the drivers to crash each other out instead of avoiding the contact. The position was Vettel's... Button drove his tires off the cliff and then whines when he pushes Vettel off track and Vettel makes the pass and bumps him back a spot. He could no longer defend and Vettel was obviously faster at the end, having looked after his tires better. I don't dislike Button, I just think it was inevitable that he was going to get passed...Not so much says the stewards,ha ha 20sec was a bit harsh, actually way harsh. In other news, I didn't see anything on Hammi's retirement... I thought for sure he'd be screaming about it post-race...
And... did anyone catch the pre-race analysis of the RBR engine mapping investigation? David Hobbs was referring to it as a "part" that could be removed from the car, lol! I was laughing at all 3 of them fumbling to express what it was the FIA were investigating and getting it all completely wrong... even Matchett was pretty clueless on exactly what they were investigating and why they were investigating it... too funny...

^That's why I watch the BBC/SkySports broadcasts.........guys that have actually raced in F1. The SPEED guys are too busy failing at being funny.
Hammi retired likely so they could throw in a fresh gearbox.Need parts now? Need them cheap? steve@blunttech.com

Yeah brundle does not do the play by play as it were any more which sucks,,, I know he is on sky usually does the pre race interviews etc... The play by play guy is terrible. Thanks anyhow.I like it when it was brundle and coulthard doing the in race announcing. So I guess rbr is back to the old engine mapping, wonder how many other mods they had in place to take advantage of the questionable engine map?Brundle is the guy on sky sports haha
