    this sucks

Hey guys I wanted to get some feedback on a transaction
I have ordered tons of stuff from forum members and never had a problem, even made a few friends

A few months ago I bought some stuff from a well known member here; these items consisted of bilstien sport shox, H&R sport springs and euro smilies. this was all form a convertible I made an offer for this stuff as a package and asked if there was anything wrong w any of it "no it all works" or something to that effect was the answer ok cool
    payment sent

a couple WEEKS later the guy finally ships( he claimed he was sick, maybe he was) Ive been sick before so it was cool I was very patient.

The stuff shows up and i was NOT impressed broken adjusters, rusted beyond use mismatched housings, I guess they could be cleaned up but none of this was disclosed, even after I asked. I texted the dude and he was like "they worked fine for me" whatever, buyer beware I guess, I get busy w work and a couple weeks go by I finally get time to have my springs and shox installed they are different colors but I figured that was specific to verts boy was I wrong after install the coils are touching I run the part numbers and they come back as springs for a sedan. At this point im pretty upset, he of course claims ignorance and says "he didnt know" I payed market to above market for all this stuff. I guess now my only option is to file a claim w paypal does anyine have anyother ideas?

Request pics before purchase. In future. As for filing a claim I can not help sorry.

Just a note though if you ever buy something from a member on the forums always back your self up with emails pictures and what not. Even long serving seemingly good members can fuck you over Cough: VLAD Cough:

At then end of the day you are buying stuff from someone you will never meet so it is up to you to do your home work, to make sure you get what you paid for.

Sorry this dose not help you at all.

          Exactly my thoughts.

Also, this thread is not of much use. Post transaction feedback for this person (in the transaction feedback forum).

It should be standard procedure to ship out sold items same/next business day unless prior arrangements are agreed upon before the sale. using the whole too busy/sick/don'tgiveashit excuse for not getting items shipped out on time is not acceptable

I always seem to order from somewhat sketchy people, and always end out fine. I just bought wheels from a guy on here with less than 15 posts, has been very helpful and on point. I can't imagine how mad I'd be getting screwed over...

                        Go here be happy!
